Getting rid of that plastic taste?

I've had this "new bottle" problem and also am not a fan of tasting the last drink that was in there over the new one - I want to taste what I put in today not yesterday/last year! I found that anti-bacterial washing up liquid worked well. I don't know if it has anything to do with killing bugs that might have decided to live on the sugar left from your carbohydrate drinks or whether that is just my inner microbiologist speaking (probably, as new bottles should come sugar and bug free) but it does work for me. Plus, you know your bottle/pouch should be clean.

The baby bottle cleaner probably would have the same effect - use whichever is cheapest?

Tried the Miltons. It now smells like a swimming bath lol!

Rinse them with lemon juice and water.
