getting new bike set up the same!!

Hi a while ago a was reading a post on here about getting 2 bikes set up the same and some one posted about what measurements and how to take them, but ive tried to look for the thread but cant seem to find it, I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction? thanks

i measure mine from floor to top of saddle , nose of saddle to centre of bars and top of bars to floor as a starting point

You have to assume BB height is the same.
My measurements are...
centre of crank to top of seat
centre of BB to top of seat ( similar to above but the 1st one takes into account any difference in crank length)
nose of saddle setback from the centre of the BB using a plumb line
nose of saddle to stem centre
nose of saddle to hoods, more critical then above .
drop from saddle to hoods, simply measure up from ground to both or if like me your saddle is dead level then a bit of wood on saddle and measure down to hoods.
This do you ?
