only try that stuff on short rides, I was properly tired when I pulled into home today after climbing out of the saddle whenever I slowed down too much

sorted out a nice around 16 mile route that I'm going to try soon, as I've been feeling strange lately with my legs feeling warmed up and moving better towards the end of the around 10 mile routes that I've been doing earlier.

So my legs must be getting better.

Also found it surprisingly easy toward the end of my last outing towards the end to do around 30km/h nice and constant without my legs feeling too bad at all.

EDIT:
Also quick question I'm thinking of calling up a local cycling club to see if i could tag along for a couple of rides to see if i like it / want to join.
Just wondering what fitness I should be so I'm trailing at the back too much

if you can ride 10 miles and can cruise at 30 kph then just rock up and they should be all right, depends on the club if its a proper roady group with matching kit you might be slow but talk to them and be honest, all the people I've met so far have been dead nice

As a newbie - I love all the newbie related threads obviously but really good to see improvements and mileages.

Nice that I don't have to ask all these questions as well....
