Do women specific saddles make much difference, its just that I am planning on buying a ridgeback cyclone which is a unisex bike it seems and I don't want a sore bum:blush:

See if the shop will fit a ladies saddle to it. Most shops have offered to do this for me when I've been looking at men's bikes without me even having to ask.

Why not buy a recumbent and never have to worry about a sore ar$e ever again. No neck, wrist, shoulder pain or numbness in your notcher either.
Yeah, but you have to get used to people pointing and laughing at you...;)

recumbent riders are one thing us d/f bike riders can really look down on.

I have a women's saddle on my hybrid. I found it comfy straight away. I have a normal Brooks B17 saddle on my tourer. I found it comfy straight away. So it all depends - I don't think those horribly razor thin looking male saddles would do you any favours though!
