Hi all,
Has anyone used Gedeo Resin Plaster? I'm helping my daughter restore the Brownie's toadstool. We (I) have sanded all the original paint off and she has covered with a layer of modroc plaster bandage. To smooth it out I was trying to find something less brittle than plaster of paris, and came across resin plaster.
I'm interested to know how robust it is? I need something that isn't going to break and crack too easily when attacked by 6 to 9 year olds. The toadstool is going to be coated with matt spray acrylic which in turn is going to have white spots painted on by hand, then a coat or two of varnish - that's my current plan. Alternative suggestions also welcome!
