Hi all. I'm an avid model maker. Well I was as a kid until I discovered girls, alcohol and cigarettes....
Now none of the above matter anymore I've rekindled my love of model making and restoration. Currently restoring a model galleon my dad made from wood in the 70's after restoring a previous one he made in the late 1920's. This current one is riddled with woodworm so having to cut chunks out and make good.
Concurrently making a 1/12 scale Alfa Romeo 8C2300 Roadster. Its a really fiddly model! Hardest I've ever attempted. Just working on the suspension today. It's taking a while. Useful to do whilst waiting for pva glue on ship restoration to set. Recently finished a model Alien Xenomorph and Egg. I have another Xenomorph model to start made from cast resin. More than enough to keep me busy!!
