I ride the Noak Hill road hill, its steeper towards the end. Looking at it from a far, it looks almost vertical!

Then the hills through Hutton are a real PITA too, but i love em. Such a nice feeling when your up them, and everytime it gets easier and easier.

I think HUD needs to get used to them a bit more, then he'll fly up them.

According to TOPO, Noak Hill Road rises 43m in 1.7km.

That's 2.5% ???

Steepest is 10m in 150m, or 6.7 %.

An ant hill.

Try it on 42 x 16.

I've done rides on 67" fixed this year that I struggled on last year with a 30x29 lowest gear (30/40/53 and 13-29).

The difference is fitness and leg strength.

Get out on the bike and ride up as many hills as you can. The more you ride up the easier it gets.
