Gearing/Cassette Choice

I need to get a new cassette, running a 9-speed, 12 - 25 teeth.
I have a triple chainring upfront
I quite fancy having a bigger ring for hills - I don't struggle with 20% hills, but beyond that and I can't cope.

Would an 11-32 make much difference
or even an 11-30 ?

Bike is a 2009 Giant Defy 2

11-28 may just be possible, I run a SRAM PG950 11-28 on my 2010 defy 2.

i have an as-new 11-32 in the Sales section but it's an 8speed.?

Just check you won't need a new rear mech if you change the cassette, I know with my setup (12-28), I'd need a long cage mech if I went above 28.

A 28t sprocket will make a massive difference, but for heaven's sake make it a 12/28 and ditch that 11t. Massive overkill for anyone outside top amateur or pro ranks.

took me a while, but i found a 13-30 8speed for my TREK hybrid - perfect

I've got a 25% near me. I can cope with going up (Or I could before my layoff, don't know about now) but descending brings home how poor cycle brakes are compared to other vehicles.
