I need to get a new cassette, running a 9-speed, 12 - 25 teeth.
I have a triple chainring upfront
I quite fancy having a bigger ring for hills - I don't struggle with 20% hills, but beyond that and I can't cope.

Would an 11-32 make much difference
or even an 11-30 ?

Bike is a 2009 Giant Defy 2

11-28 may just be possible, I run a SRAM PG950 11-28 on my 2010 defy 2.

I am impressed that you don't have any problem 20% gradients - 1 in 5

Hills don't get much steeper?

Cheers keith
