Because the bunch will be over the horizon before you've finished. And you'd need to screw it back off before you finish.

Truth.

I would but i've just painted a wall and I want to supervise it drying. I love watching it go from fully wet through sticky before plateauing at tacky, its final push towards fully hard being reached just after dawn tomorrow. I find it really interesting.
