It did feel very wierd, but normally hubby does a couple of days a week at home... trust it to be today that he went to into the office for a meeting... I had also informed a friend - the same one who I had to ring when I stupidly shut the front door, locking myself out.

I rode the bike to school to pick up my daughter later... felt so much better with the gears working. Thank You again.

Ooh, looks like it might have come form the same sort of shop as the one you admired a couple of weeks ago in York - the shop is on Coney Street... Called Octopus I think...
