so,

Essentially what's in the title. Mines stopped working to be able to measure speed. Sure, this isn't a huge deal as its a GPS anyway...but it's still annoying.

I thought it may have been a case of low battery, but I've replaced that, and even tried taking the magnet off the wheel to get it as close to the measuring stick as possible, and...nothing. The cadence sensor works absolutely fine, which means the unit hasn't given up completely...

Any suggestions on what to do, as I don't fancy shelling out on a new one.

Thanks

The GSC10 is notoriously badly made, not working with one reading is common

I've had three, first came with my 705 and lasted 5? Years, then I noticed funny speed readings and eventually realised the speed sensor was goosed. Makes sense it goes first as it operates more (unless you've REALLY low gearing on a single speed). I got a replacement from Amazon market place IIRC which lasted a couple of weeks and I got replaced quickly and easily by Garmin under warranty. Sent a copy of the receipt and photo of the serial number, new one sent by return of post. That now continues to work with my 800 for a few years now.
