It doesn't make you go back, so if you join back onto the route at a later point then it continues as normal. Mine doesn't route you back like my 1000 did
Maybe an update for the future...
I'll give the Wahoo this year to see how it goes and decide if I'm going back to the 1000 or the new 1030...
I have a few Garmin's still though
