Garmin - loading new course during ride (problems)

You can do that, but it involves copying a theme file, then changing the colour of the active course line in your copy. I have mine set to red in my custom map theme.

An interesting hint - could do with something a bit clearer especially in fading light.

After some quick googling, I managed to work out how to change the colour to red.

I found a ready made file which I copied into text file, saved as a KMTF file into my documents. Connected the Explore 2 to my computer then dragged and dropped the file into the map themes on the Explore2.

Bingo.

Will be a little while until I test it though.

Thanks @ianrauk , seems to work and the routes are now bright red. Curiously the motorways have also turned red, but hey ho, that's not a mistake I'm likely to make.

Aha.. good to see Rob. Hopefully its saves the old squinting at the map lark I'm having to do with the magenta line.
