Hi did you ever figure out how to fix this issue? I’m having the exact same problem. It seems to have started when I manually loaded a Strava route as a course onto mine.

hi no i didn't ever get either sorted and i contacted Garmin but they didn't even bother replying so both are destined to the bin at some point i do take one with my some times just in case but alas not

My 200 is still gamely soldiering on, but it's sad that Garmin aren't enthusiastic with their support for it.

Missed this. This is a file view of the device. But what do the activities show in Garmin Connect? Data missing or look okay?
Don't bin it just yet! I just tried the format approach here (https://gilbertocortez.com/cycling/how-to-format-and-master-reset-your-garmin-edge/) on my son's Windows PC, since I'm on a Macbook, and it worked! It's now tracking distance and showing average speed / ascent. Just find a Windows machine and give it a try. Hope it works!
