So after several years of having to choose between 'top of wheely bin' or 'garden grass' as my workbench for cycle maintenance, I almost have my garage sorted . It currently has bare concrete, which I'm in the process of stabilising prior to painting.

Does anyone have any recommendations or horror stories for garage floor paint?

I'm also unsure of colour, again, any recommendations, or even some photos would be nice?

Thanks,
Michael

When the door is open, it receives direct sunlight for most of the day, but with the door closed, I'm reliant on a single (albeit very bright) bulb. I've been considering a light grey for this very reason, but it's less aesthetically pleasing as some other colours.

Just to throw a spanner in the works when I ripped up the "wood" flooring from the dining room I salvaged and relaid as my garage floor.
More comfortable to stand on than concrete and easy to mop.

In my early years working in very poorly appointed Parts departments I had learnt that standing for long periods on concrete is no fun.

Mate built a shed from the inside and then realised it was bolted.. If you met him you'd understand ..
My parents boxed up all of their furniture for shipment to the UK, inside their wooden house. Once they realized that it was too large for the door and they were running late, they enlarged the front door with a saw.
