Geraint Thomas is doing 2020 introductions to 2018 Tour de France clips.
Interesting that he chooses to mention that on the first rest day he was told he couldn’t have his hotel room air con on but Froome could (there was a problem with the hotel electricity tripping).
They were joint leader but management sending a text excluding G doesn’t seem equal?!
I wonder if G would have bought it up if Froome was staying at Ineos?!

I remember him saying about it in a BBC documentary after his TdF win. He did leave his air conditioning on that night, according to that account as I recall it.

Correct. He said he ignored the instruction. Interestingly a few stages later he says ‘Froome is the leader’, an odd thing for a joint leader to say!!!
