There's someone here in Cleveleys does bikes up, locks em up at the main traffic lights with a sign on em for £price (usually 50 quid) and its a different bike every week. Fair play to em.

This is how things are done in Denmark. There are lots of stalls outside peoples houses selling things. You pay by mobile pay and take what you want.

It's done to some extent around here, but not with bikes. Vegetables are grown in raised beds around Oakwood Clock. Anyone can take them. Been working well for a number of years.
