hmm, well six woulda been ok, two spare sets!

i seem to remember getting my fulcrum r5s while under the influence... ah well!

mine are the old model without the asymmetric rim, unfortunately.

I got a set of racings 5s on a bike I bought late last year. Initial thoughts were that they were ok, but both wheels buckled within 2 weeks, so I have gone back to Shimano Ultegra wheels I took off my previous bike with no problems.

Funny, haven't had any similar probs with me R5s... however, the front one is about 10% heavier than quoted weight... mind you the rear one is 2% lighter

Just my experience with them, others may be fine. One of the guys I ride with has been through about 4 sets of new Fulcrum wheels of varying types, they seem to bend in two for him, whereas a couple of the other people I ride with have Quattros and have not had any problems (saying that one of them had to replace 3 spokes a few weeks back) So with all of that I have gone back to my Shimano wheels, knowing I can ride them into the back of vans at nearly 30mph and know they will still be true!
