Hi all,

My Cinelli Experience has Veloce shifters and miche cranks and cassette. I want to add a power meter crank, but there is little support for campag.

However, I notice this Bianchi Veloce uses an Fsa Omega MegaExo Compact 50-34T crankset:

So, if I buy a crankset here:

Then I can buy an FSA Stages:

What is the flaw in my cunning plan..?

Is megaexo not a Shimano compatable 24mm spindle and your Stages Power FSA Energy BB30 is 30mm spindle!?

Imagine for a moment that I have no idea what you're talking about

If it fits on the Bianchi why wouldn't it fit in the Cinelli with the same shifters?

The crank will fit but the fsa stages is not compatible with that crank as I think one has a 24mm spindle and the other has a 30mm spindle .

Edit- If your crank is currently 24mm and the new one is 30mm then the FSA stages will fit the crank but wont fit the current BB

Ah - I see, so if I find a PM compatible I could be okay.

The PM says compatible with BB30 cranks , it may be compatible with 24mm ones if it tapers to the same size .
If your BB is square taper for the miche cranks you will also need a new BB.

That PM will not fit on the cranks you have linked to. A BB30 arm will not attach to a MegaExo spindle as the method of securing the arm to the spindle is not compatible. The BB30 crank arm will also have a different profile/angle anyway.

That one says it is not compatible with the crank you linked to earlier...

Oh bugger, shall I give up? This PM nonsense is complicated AND expensive. I can only handle one of these at a time.
