Pretty sure Wiggins said a few weeks ago, that with the shorter time trials and the route for next year, Froome is the best rider to be leader and he would happily support him. Would be brilliant to have two British riders win it.

You are correct but Wiggans also said afterwards about looking forward to defending his TDF Title which made me think he was not totally 100% behind Brailsford plans. Wiggans also did not set out how he would have achieved both next year which is highly unlikely this day and age.

Brailsford does not consider anyone else's ego when he makes his plans and expects everyone to be on board or they wont be in his Team.

Froome, I am sure we can all agree, is the best rider at SKY for the 2013 TDF and I hope he can do it but he will need a very strong team around him to fend off Contador's challenge which shall be very strong, assuming he gets the invite!

His points don't count for Saxo/Tinkoff, and they are in a scrap with Argos for the last world tour place. Without that no guarantees about a TdF (or indeed Giro) place. Plus boss man Riis is on the wrong end of some less than helpful stuff about his history, all of which might mean Bertie may even not get a start. Still, there is the Vuelta, where he will always get a ride.
