Hi all

On my back wheel, if I undo the QR, the wheel pulls straight out.
But on the front I also have to undo the nut a few turns (which means I also have to do it back up when putting the wheel back on). Is that normal?

My Dawes doesn't have lawyer tabs, and I'm suitably alive. No wheels flying off here.

That said, I haven't filed them off my other bike with them. Not essential, just another safety feature.

I rode halfway round Llandegla red route with my rear QR undone. Only on the big switchback berms did I notice it, and a guy following me told me the QR was sticking up. I may have knocked it, but I'd rather it was the back than the front!
