If you just want a cheap flashing light, try Poundland (or Poundworld) who do an LED one.
No idea what the longevity will be like but I bought a couple of their rear lights as a back up and they are still going strong after 8 months.
Or Aldi do a good LED one with flash and strobe settings as part of a set, if they have any left from their last offer.
