Front derailleur clamp size

Hey up chaps... anyone know what clamp size i need for the front dérailleur on a Carrera Vengeance? ... it's in the region of 35-36mm (judged by putting my headset spanners around the seat tube)... but can't seem to find anything larger than 34.9mm.

Also, anyone had any experience with them there 'multi-fit' front dérailleurs? I'm looking for something as cheap as possible to botch a friend's latest skip find into some sort of working order.

If it's a large frame and a FD m190 then it'll need a 34.9mm band (no adapter in band when installing)
