England : Essex Friendly cycling club/group in Brentwood, Essex?

The Gateway cycling club now meet at Bulphan Primary school in Fen Lane, just around the corner from their old meeting place at the church. They also have a mid-week ride normally starting a 10am from the Whitmore Arms in Orsett. See http://www.gatewaycycling.org.uk

Hi there. I'm doing a bit of research into bike friendly places in Brentwood and surrounding areas, things like cafes & pubs that go out of their way to accommodate cyclists, places with good nearby bike parking, even places where you can buy good energy-giving snacks or smoothies for the ride and anywhere else you can think of that's ideal for cycling individuals, groups or families. I don't know about brentwood itself but just down the road is blackmore where they have a couple of tea rooms and nearby to that is norton heath where they have a cafe.All these places are cycle friendly.

Does this cycle group still exist? New on here, so I'm probably doing it all wrong. Apologies already
