Sadly off to a funeral of a friend that died in a motorbike crash. He was a lovely bloke. Typical.

Really don’t like motorbikes for the above reason. Still got the scars from my motorbike phase, seem to spend more time on the deck.

Motorbike riders are of a certain mindset. I know a few. But even the steady easy rider one's are all vulnerable.

Anyhoo, sunny again. Much coffee required. Contemplate weekend plans. Spot of gardening but fundamentally it's all in hand. Pop to cop shop to see if Shorty's phone has been handed in... Well done Shorty 🙄

Goodish sleep after yesterday's communt, but still feel a bit tired so remedying with coffee while I torture numbers and simultaneously deal with stupidity from far away. I'm learning to multi-task. There's a cold cider or two in the fridge for later.

Ran last night, dead knee now which isn't good and I've no idea how or why it has started to hurt. I thought we were well and truly past recovery.

up early, coffee, wfh and cunning plan, had a pleasant bask for a couple of hours around solar noon, now coffee and ease into lazing

Been to dentist to arrange extraction of two 'historic monument' teeth that have been on their way our for years, and have been place holders for when I decided what to do (probably a bridge for one, and a gap for the other). All got pushed back by covid, the dentist leaving the NHS afterwards, no other NHS places left anywhere in Devon (pretty much), and so ending up being a private patient by default. Grrr.

Anyway, needs to be done now, as problem teeth can end up being bad problems for dodgy heart valves, so they need to get sorted & healed.

Yay for being 61!
