So to recap I'll have had to look out for :castles ; submarines ; teddy bears and now Perseids!

Well if you'd been on the train back, with us, last Saturday, you could have heard about Mars rovers as well.

And if you don't like my route just say so. Don't spare my feelings

I don't like you route back, although that's mainly because it doesn't involve trains, which I intend that my route will.

Route from Hyde Park Corner to Harwich (including Ferry) - on GPSies.

(If I download copies onto my Garmin, I normally download the GPX Track option).

Ah, yes - I know, but that was just for the benefit of anyone (me?) looking for an easy way into London in proximity to the Dartford X-ing.

I've split the ride route into two bits now. The bit before the ferry, and the bit after (which it sounds like won't bear much resemblance to dellzeqq's planned route anyway).

FNRttC planned route (from HPC to East Mersea) - 65.5 miles

FNRttC Harwich planned route (from Brightlinghsea to Hawrich) - 21.2 miles

regarding the route from dartford (on our way back) i'll go south of the river this time and aim for shooters hill, greenwich - a little change from riding through (that) east london
