It has just been announced across the wires that anyone riding a Brompton throughout the night will buy the beer for those less fortunate in the cranky bike stakes. I assume you are riding yours, Greg, as it is nearer the ground. Admirable damage limitation.
Remember "Brommies Buy Beer" weekend! By the way, does anyone realise that it is raining today? Happy May Day - up the workers!

Weather Pro is pretty benign - 15/20% chance of rain along the route from what I can make out, about 6 degrees at coldest.

I'm going to go with this one as part of maintaining a positive mental attitude... (v unusual for me tbqh)

Mmmmmm. My roadbike is sooooo comfortable - I can never find the right height for my Brommie seatpost so inevitably hurt my knee if Im on it for too long - which I guess means I'll not be buying the beers after all. Also this weekend is perfect LonJog training. Friday Southend Return (Thank you Nigel62), LMNH, home for zzzzzz, Veterans Ride to Brighton on Sunday. A good test of stamina. (Although dont mention that to mmmmartin or LouiseL as they really do have stamina)

Adrian, no wonder those brave Brommie riders don't want to tell the world they intend to ride their Bromptons' if that is the level of support they receive from the wider #FNRttC. I personally think those Brommie riders should be proud and proclaim their intention and as way of protest I will be with withholding beer from you and Martin!!!!!!!!
