I guess one possibility is to do both Bostals - the decision would be which to descend.
It could also become the FNRTTC version of the Alpe d'huez double ascent which incorporated the descent of the badly surfaced road from the Col de Sarenne: up Ditchling, down Westmeston and up Ditchling again.
I am so so up for that
