Oh well, late again (© Stealer's Wheel).
This has been an earthworm earworm to me all day as I balanced precariously on/off an extended ladder while redecorating the main stairwell of Manoir du Braconnier, a feat I last performed 20 or so years ago on tiptoe on a 50 mm wide bannister before pushing myself off the far (1m30) wall and landing delicately on my feet on the floor of the landing. I have reluctantly conceded that this is now beyond my capabilities and would probably result in a DNR (too stupid to revive) label on my toe in the event of the inevitable fall.
