First track I thought of when I saw the thread title.
But I seem to remember a longer better version with a long monologue/talky bit where he fantasised about a woman living opposite him, before the band then let rip again. Or was that from a John Peel session?
Saw them at Hammersmith Odeon supporting Devo.

Still got my 7" (fnnarr) of Sound of the Suburbs somewhere,
"mum's in the kitchen cooking Sunday dinner, her best meal by far..."
My least favourite meal
