I know I've seen loads of American country musicians recording German versions of their songs but you're lucky, I can't find any now.

Most of the German music I've listened to insitu was at the top of a snowy mountain in the apres ski tents they have (places like Garmisch-Partenkirchen and also in Austria) - it is dire, you have to be there and drink a few steins to get going (in fact they probably are kicking off just about now) ;) .

That's one of his more "normal" efforts. On youtube, you can probably find footage of his string quartet where the four players all play from a separate helicopter.
