i have an old rear wheel which was condemned by my lbs (in the days before i now do most things myself) which had a stuck cassette freehub. lbs said it was not serviceable, so a new set of wheels was ordered (from the 'net).
anyway, seeing as i had some cone spanners, i thought i'd have a go at fixing it myself. all went fine; undid locking rings, cones, removed axle and bearings (some rusty). i then got a 10mm allen key to remove the freehub retaining bolt, only to find that there was none.
looks like the lbs was spot on, and definitely (not that i would have considered that they would) not trying to pull a fast one and sell me new wheel.
