Sorted!! Just phoned the shop and spoke to a different bloke and explained the situation. He couldn't understand why they just hadn't stopped it at the service given the bikes age and usage so it's gonna be replaced free of charge. Am so glad that I didn't blow a couple of hundred quid on a new wheelset. Thanks or all your help and advice and hopefully I might be able to offer some help to you guys in the future. Over and out.
