Freak Tunnocks Teacakes Alert!

I think I just confirmed it was a freak packet
Same shop, same packaging....no double dipped chocolate.

Hi Kirstie, spoke to my colleague today about this and it would seem that it was indeed a freak. The bases are topped with the mallow then they are coated in chocolate before the base is dipped using a chocolate sump. It would appear that the calibration on the machine must have been out resulting in a thicker coating.

O/T had a M&S teacake at teabreak today. Not as good as the originals - "These are ordinary M&S teacakes not Tunnocks finest teacakes".

i'd love a dark chocolate version, like the tunnocks wafer bars.

I go past the Tunnocks factory when I cycle to work. The smell of baking and hot chocolate is very nice. Never notice the same smell on the return journey though, must be masked by the exhaust fumes from the traffic
