Hello all,

I wonder whether someone might be able to shed some light on this frame, please.

Serial number E50010107.

Afraid I don’t know a lot so apologies if this isn’t very exciting… notable features to me are the heart on the down tube, lack of cable guides, and those pinched chain stays. Anyone recognise the tube joinings?

Thanks very much!
Ol

Wild guess, but the lugs, rear drop-outs and down-tube blob (to locate shifters) look a lot like my late 70s/early 80s gaspipe Falcon. The forks look wrong though and I'd expect a cable stop underneath the r/h chainstay also (can't see one in your pics).

These frames were, I believe, made in Taiwan and the frame numbers aren't all that reliable since Falcon didn't follow any consistent pattern over the years.
