Any good way of removing this.......

My kit is washed everyday, but the commuter kit can get pongy after a spell of warm weather. Tried fabric conditioners, an even went back to simple soap which actually helps. Low temp washes with non-bio powder.

Ideas...freezer ????

Increase your wash temperature to dislodge those smelly molecules and kill those bacteria.

Looked like he had all the gear, and even the look of someone that would have been fast, but just wasn't.

Out for a spin, doing a longish, slow ride..........

I have all the gear, don't look fast, don't care. Its comfy to ride in decent kit, except if you're just off to the shops etc.

Or just someone who had bought the bike, and the kit(or his parents had done) but didnt have a clue, and couldnt ride fast.

This is the strange thing, your defending the roadie for being crap. Saying he could have just been going to the shops.

Well, he was late teens/early 20s, dressed in lycra, i dont think he was just nipping to the shops.
