This sound sad, but it works!

When you fit the tyres always line up the writing with the valve!

This means that you can accurately pinpoint the place where the puncture has occurred and translate it to the tyre and rim

It means that you know exactly where to look for the offending item that has caused the puncture.

Might be a bit obvious to most, but do you have a pump with a gauge to ensure that your tyres are at the correct pressure i.e. above the minimum marked on the side of the tyre? Important to avoid pinch punctures.
