A month or two ago the 'refurbished' ones were £50 at Argos Clearance Bargains.

Looked as new too. Unfortunately I am out of space.
Note, at a guess they weigh about 14kg, possibly more !
(Review says 13.3kg) Looks an ok commuter bike.

Edit -seems Argos headline it at £350, £148 is their low price shop offer. It has also been offered at £225.

Things like the wheels, headset and BB will die quickly as a commuter bike on those Argos bikes - they just won't survive bad weather.

its about what they are worth, i had one briefly as a second hand buy and even when i had set it up the best i could the brakes were very poor and bargain basement groupset , pretty heavy too if i remember rightly .

As a new bike though it's a bargain not to get compared with a mid level road bike obvs....

Look at the Aluminium Giant Contend SL at £1500. It’s a brilliant bike. I’d drop anyone on a contend riding any factor as long as their fitness wasn’t higher than mine.
