I agree. The only remotely cycling related use for those monstrosities is to wear them whilst fixing potholes.

Compulsory as I understand it outside Italian urban areas at night.

I use one in long road tunnels (been through one on a wobbly folder that I think was 2 to 3km) so I don't care what I look like as long as I come out the other end.

I have the Red one in size medium and have found it a decent shower jacket for the last few years. Definitely worth £14.
