If it's any help, I'm 5ft 9 with a 29 inch inside leg and an M is a perfect fit.

I’m 5, 7” with a 32 inch leg and M is a perfect fit.

Yeah, I tried one and it is small. I would have bought one if they had the 56 and the guy didn't try to tell me it fitted like a glove.
