Cool. I have 35 mm landcruisers on the bike at the moment.

Tredz are doing £250 off £1500. I've been banging on about the Kona Roadhouse since I bought one a few months ago. A cracking bike, 853 frame, Shimano hydraulic discs and decent finishing kit. Add £56 worth of clothing / consumables and it becomes £1250. There's always a pop-up offering a fiver off on Tredz website, plus quidco (another 2% off) and it becomes round about £1200. I'd challenge anyone to find an 853 framed bike with a similar specification for anywhere near that. Only available in smaller sizes now:

Picked up a set of 42mm SKS Bluemels from Decathlon in Stockport this afternoon reduced to £12.99. They seemed to have a few in stock. Bargain :okay:
Yes, i bought a pair a few weeks ago. Very nice. Carefully selected so that I could fit some nice 32mm tyres. Then realised that the rims on that bike won't take more than 28 anyway  . Still, the guards, the bike and the 28mm tyres are still very nice.

Not a bad price for a workaday city light.

Also handy if you have others in the range for a spare mount - or a spare back - though a nice light I do find that the backs are prone to breaking if dropped - have done it to two - so this back is now on a 60 lux front - nice that all is swappable - hope the range continues but knowing the bike industry, quite probably not.

Yes I know they have been available for less.

Worth knowing Planet X have the Smart light range on offer, from about £5 for both front and £3 for rear, plus postage.

Spare parts are extremely cheap too, which is useful considering how fragile their designs are.
The Phaart 3W is a good alternative to a Smart, but there, despite a more robust shell, doing battery replacement you need to be careful.
