Rechargeable lights are a waste of money. You can get all the benefits of chargeability with normal lights and rechargeable batteries, and you're not stuffed if they run out.
A waste of money? Not for many like me who can easily charge them at work. I find them excellent bits of commuting kit and I've changed all of my lights over the years to rechargeable. No batteries to faff with is an added bonus for me.

I use a USB chargable one bontrager flare light. Okay but always have a spare one in my saddle bag.

What's the worst place for your front light battery to run out I'd in middle of country lane unlit lol

Everyones favourite bike shop has Conti Gatorskins in 700c x 23 and 700c x 25 on offer at just £18 each - that's a pair for £36!

And BC members get the usual 10% off that too, making a pair just £32.40.

I don't actually need any new tyres at the moment, but at that price I might get a pair for when I do. ;)

& another 3% cashback https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/soltydog :okay:

Rutland cycles have 50%off on the Light&Motion Urban lights so £40 for 500lumen and £50 for 650 lumen. Both have cracking write ups

Have ordered the Urban500 in green to match the bike :okay:

How are you getting on with the light? I bought the 650. Great power but absolutely awful battery life. I was switching mine off when not needed during my ride last night and it still only managed around an hour and that was rarely on full power. Either the cold really affects it or it just doesn't last. I did warm it up before going outside too as suggested in the manual.
