There's a sweet Rocky Mountain Blizzard on ebay right now - collect in person Cornwall, which will deter lots of people. It's a gem, with Turbine cranks and handbuilt wheels. If you can see past the abonination of saddle, stem and bars there's a hardcore little retro hardtail in there for someone. I'd be tempted if I was nearer Cornwall.

A possible bargain - it has a reserve.

picked it up. Excellent for £4, though a slight concern that it rather accentuated my nipples - perhaps excitement st such a bargain. May use as a winter base layer for round town rides. Halfords Catford actually had some more on the shop hangers, plus short sleeve versions of same. The Halfords click and collect works well online and i like the fact that you don't pay online upfront (avoids complications if you need to hand the thing back after trying) but after that it can be a pig and a pain for both customers and staff. The initial text back saying it will be ready in an hour is meaningless as it is automated. It took 3 calls on separate days to establish that they had it for collection. I could do without the initial text - better to just get one when it's ready.thanks again for the recco/heads up.

I agree about Halfords Click n Collect.
If I reserve something from the branch near home (York Rd, Leeds), I've only actually had a phone call once and that was to say that they couldn't find the item I'd reserved and offer me something else. As I pass there most days I just call in and hope for the best.
That said, the Halifax branch (near work) have always called me to confirm if I reserve something there, often in well under an hour too.
