PBK have been fine in my experience but that was ordering from their website.

I think pbk are trying to do some damage limitation. The ad was pretty unambiguous. It refers to shifters plural and had no option to select left or right. It also quotes a reduction from a price for a pair.
I wonder of there has been a disgruntled or inept employee looking after the eBay site.....

It does - and the RRP quoted is above the price for a single.
