A couple of reasons this is "cheap". Limited size - small. It's a triple - kind of redundant now with compacts.

It actually comes with a good wheelset. However I bought a full carbon, albeit with only a Sora 9 Compact for around £550. And it was put together by .... Actually it wasn't put together at all even though ProBikeKit signed it off - it was down right dangerous.

I've bought from Merlin quite a few times and they have always been very professional and quick.

If you are a small guy or woman this is probably the best £600 bike you can buy, IMO.

They are S/M and made of stiff material so they will fit on all kinds of racks without banging wheels or your heel. School books rather than shopping. I would say they are exactly £15 worth of bag, which is good because normally £15 worth of bag costs you £40.

@beermonster I got my tops on Monday but the bib shorts were not with them, I phoned today to be advised that they were out of stock and so they cancelled that part of my order! Nice of them to tell me!!
