I have one of these on the mountain bike - great quality. The quick release fitment may be a problem for some though as the rails on my prologo saddle on the road bike are too narrow to take the topeak mount.

I'm still kinda conflicted at the PBK sale.

On the one hand I got one of the three items at a genuine bargain price - £6.50 for a £65 jersey. It's excellent quality and I'm delighted with it. On that basis I should just be happy and get on with it, but I can't help but feel that I (and others) have been manipulated. PBK didn't in my opinion take my order in good faith, they deliberately raised expectations to generate attention for their company. I was so disappointed that they waited some days before telling me I wasn't getting what I ordered that I very much doubt I will do business with them again (mind you, at £65 for a jersey it was hardly likely anyway  )

I ordered a new cassette from PBK late this morning and it was despatched today. Price was as keen as any and I got 15% off as a new customer. So far I'm happy with them.

I have had problems with them before, and their group company, The Hut Group. It was a company that I swore I would never deal with again. Stupidly I fell for a full carbon Sora Raleigh bike that they were doing for around £550 after all discounts.

It was described as nearly fully built - and checked by "qualified" mechanics - just attach bars and put some pedals on. It wasn't. Indexing was all over the place. They blamed the couriers. When I got that sorted I realised that they had wrapped the bar tape the wrong way.

Yesterday I went out on it and the crank arm fell off - which is just bloody dangerous! Luckily I had just got up a hill, but was clipped in. Next thing I know crank arm is dragging along the floor.

The little hand tighten nut - grips nothing now. So I can't refit the crank arm. I've done under 100 miles on the thing and love the frame but am pretty annoyed about everything that has gone wrong.

Anyone have an idea about what is the problem - I think the BB is now sheared. And also any advice as to how I can word my message to them?

I realise it could be perceived as being overdramatic, but if that had happened whilst climbing the hill I was, on a busy main road, I would have lost all control and could have swerved into a car on lorry travelling at speed.

And I wouldn't be here to whine on the internet. Or even too convinced the accident investigators would have determined a cause, even though my crank arm was off the bike and connected to my foot - lol!

Apart from that another bargain here Bell Lumen Helmet - Large -- Matt Titanium and High Viz Yellow - £16.51 - currently £56.99 at... PBK lol - http://www.probikekit.co.uk/sports-...zamMiDkGp6Q8HbxboREnFu4Xaf6itnKPykaAg0h8P8HAQ

Only £16.51 at Amazon here - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00GCB8LWU/ref=oh_details_o06_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The pic on Amazon is wrong - it is the one that PBK are selling for over 3X the price...

Any advice on how to deal with my unfit for purpose bike? Cheers

I've just purchased a Fizik Antares saddle (manganese rails) from PBK for £56.24 including DPD next day delivery using Top Cashback link and code of BUYERS10. It's currently 4.04% CB so that's another £2.07 to come back. I should hopefully get it tomorrow as said Mon - Thurs before 8pm will be delivered next day otherwise wouldn't have paid for it as need it for Sunday's club run. This is the cheapest I could find the saddle and didn't think the difference in weight between this and the kium rails was worth an extra £40ish from elsewhere but guess that's dependant on if you're a weightweenie  It'll be replacing my Prologo Nago Evo TR which is too narrow for my butt!
