Just new to cycling so am just purchasing summer cycling tops
What is the thoughts on all the branded tops out there , sky , bianchi , omega pharma , are these to be left alone and stick with plain tops ,

branded tops are no different to wearing football shirts, wear what feels comfortable to you

In general, it isn't popular - it's a personal choice, but you might get a few jeers now and again

I bought some cheapish dhb summer tops from Wiggle, and they're brilliant. No need to spend a fortune on team jerseys unless you want to.

The Mio Cyclo 505 kit on Sportspursuit looks like a steal. They have an update coming out which should pitch this above the capabilities of the high end Garmin's.

Good one, local shop is charging 9.99 for the fit so a good deal for a new set of tyres and tubes.

Some shops charging up to £20 to swap them! And not that many shops in the SE/London.

From what I understand, yes. I think they're pitching them as good value (fair bit cheaper) rather than the absolute top performance. Just got some fitted and they're black and go round when I pedal, so good tyres . Also, had 25s fitted instead of the old 23s. Hard to give a decent review after cycling back a couple of miles from the LBS, but the guy there explained that they're promoting them as a value-performance as they've changed the manufacturing process, apparently, which makes them cheaper. They've sold them in for ~6 months with no real problems. If you're going to change your tyres, hard to say no at that price.
