I've just noticed that Evans have an "ex display and seconds" section in the clothing part of their website. I've bought a very nice pair of "soiled" LG shoes. The "soiling" on them? A couple of very minor scratches where someone has attached and removed a pair of cleats.

Was looking around for a new pair of Altura Night Vision tights, as I've finally worn the seam out of my five year old pair. Everyone was selling online for about £49.50 a couple of days ago, except for "Pedal Pedal", who I had never heard of, but who were asking only £35 and change. Finally got my ass in to gear today and went to buy them, and found the price had gone up to £41.40!! Will monitor Pedal Pedal for a while and see if they come in cheaper on other stuff too. Looks promising.
Went back into "Pedal Pedal" tonight and bought them for the original price of £34.50.
Still £49.49 at Wiggle, Evans, etc.:headshake:
Now just hoping the goods turn up (as I had never heard of them). Strange fluctuation in prices from day to day, and the checkout process took me a few attempts to complete. Might be on to a winner though.

I have bought a couple of things from them - at good prices - and had excellent service.

Wore the Scott Helium Plus Gilet today , it was brilliant . Not cold enough out for a full sleeved jacket/windstopper but not warm enough for just a base layer or jersey. Wore the scott with a long sleeve merino base and it was just right , at £22 it was a real bargain.

what is the cut of the gilet like? Might be tempted if it is fairly tight, should be a good investment for when things get really cold next winter!
