My local Lidl had the cycling gear, along with all other Monday offers, on sale this pm. Water bottle seems watertight, mitts and jerseys ok - the dark jersey is highly reflective. Shorts/ 3/4 shorts have a thin pad but having tried the shorts on the indoor trainer they seem more comfortable than my Endura padded undershorts. The padding does seem to be thinner on the modesty panel with consequential third leg appearance. They have an elasticated /tie up waistband and an internal coin pocket. Think the Tenn shorts from Halfords for £10 in their sale are a better buy as they have a thicker pad.

Tenn cycle shorts £10 at halfords atm, pad looks pretty good .
Bought a couple of pairs for commuting in as at that price you cant moan and they cant be any worse than the decathlon basic shorts with a basic pad for a similar price that i normally use .

Took them back , the padding might be good but it is not flat stitched and has an edge that rubs you raw, managed about 20 yards before i turned around and got another pair of shorts .

I'm sure most clothing is a 'personal buy'.

Without padding there is less chance of that Betty Swollocks feeling. So padding is maybe best as part of the saddle.

Are they cheaper direct rather than on the start fitness website? Last time I found direct was more expensive.
