That helmet looks pretty decent-looking - they've come on a bit clearly - I remember the days when I'd sooner wear a pan on my head than a Lidl helmet.

it could be good enough for a 30km commute & at that price it wouldn't break your heart if it was 'arf-inched.
It's almost disposable cycling

Though more spec detail would be handy.

Assuming the parts are decent (obviously not expecting high-end) it could almost be worth buying for bits.

I'm assuming its 2x7 (my maths was always dodgy but surely that's the only way you can get 14?) so it's good to see someone still using 7 speed bits.

I'm running a 52 x 42 as a daily commuter and it's OK up most hills.

I'm a standard double on all mine, but thinking of a 13 year old ! I think the 54cm will be way too big. Spied a Carrera Valour on ebay in small !

I'm on a standard double & was also on the same around 13 years old, I used to find it a lot easier than I do now ;-)
